CYPRUS LAUNCH REVIEW

Cyprus Legal and GDPR Review

The Cyprus-specific legal review points for real estate, privacy, cookies, verification, payments and deposit workflows.

Updated 8 June 2026Counsel checklist

This is an operational launch pack, not a legal opinion. Final wording must be approved by Cyprus counsel before signed customer use.

Real estate product boundaries

Property Passport, due diligence, buyer readiness and seller readiness outputs are workflow summaries, not official registry certificates, legal opinions or valuations.

Title deed, permit, EPC, mortgage, tax and communal expense statuses should be marked as pending, uploaded, verified, rejected or expired and show the reviewer and date.

Users should be directed to lawyers, engineers, banks and competent authorities for final transaction decisions.

Verification and scoring

Scores must remain explainable and based on verification, documents, transaction history, reviews, payment reliability, legal readiness and maintenance history.

Protected characteristics must not be used for scoring or matching.

Manual KYC and manual bank proof should clearly show reviewer, evidence status, expiry and limitations.

Deposits, AI and CRM integrations

Deposit protection is currently an escrow-style workflow only. It must not claim to hold funds, release regulated escrow money or provide banking services.

AI inspection is helper-only. Human review should remain the decision layer for damage, deductions and disputes.

CRM API access requires authenticated users, API keys, lawful purpose, rate limits, access logs and no raw sensitive document exposure.

Launch sign-off

Before live commercial use, counsel should sign off privacy notice, terms, DPA, vendor DPAs, cookies, data retention, review wording, payment wording and Cyprus real estate disclaimers.
